I have been developing my use of dying and printing techniques for some time. My work is focused around the effects of time, weather and nature. Having grown up in The Vale of The White Horse I have been drawn to historic, timeless and natural places. Printmaking has allowed me to develop stories and pathways, to gather and preserve these images to create a unique and lasting design.

My Scarves are each hand produced and each individual and never the same as any other. I use a range of dyes that are fixed to the fabric through discharge printing technique and applied through silkscreen processes. Having studied at Loughborough University and worked in both industry and education I have been able to specialise in dying processes.

Life is a journey that starts with our first steps, words and thoughts we build on this and sometimes invent but never loose the spiritual and powerful traces of our past.
